My name is Romain VUATTOUX, I am born in France but left my country in 1999 to go and explore the world. I have lived in several countries including: the United States, Tanzania, Canada, Sweden and China. I graduated from Mount Allison University (New Brunswick, Canada) with a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations, specializing in Asian studies and history. I arrived in China in 2007, and began working in a small city of Zhejiang province, before moving to Hangzhou and then Shanghai. While working in China, I obtained my English Teacher Certification in 2008 and an International Environmental Law certificate from Switzerland, UNITAR, in 2009. I first worked for the Training Center for Overseas Studies (TCOS) from 2010-2011, as an English and French teacher. In 2012, I completed a Masters of Science in Sustainable Urban Management, from Malmo University (Sweden). In 2013, I returned to TCOS to teach English. Since 2014, I have been working as a teaching fellow for the foundation programme of the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences (FASS) of the University of Waikato (New Zealand) in TCOS/CICP. Courses taught: International Relations, Screen and Media Studies, History/Western Civilization 1500-1800, Sociology/Popular Cutlure, Arts.

我叫Romain VUATTOUX,出生在法国,1999年我离开我的祖国开始了对世界的探索。我去过美国、坦桑尼亚、加拿大、瑞典,现在来到了中国。我大学毕业于加拿大新布伦瑞克省的Mount Allison大学,获得国际关系专业的文学学士,主修亚洲研究和历史。在2008年,我获得了英语教师资格证书。于2009年在瑞士联合国训练研究所获得国际环境法证书。2012年,我在瑞典Malmo大学取得硕士学位,主修城市可持续管理。

2007年我搬到了中国浙江杭州工作了一段时间,并于2010-2011学年在上海外国语大学出国留学人员培训部工作。当时主要教授英语和法语。

2013年我又回到了上外出国留学人员培训部和海外合作学院教授英语口语,法语口语等课程。2014年起我开始担任怀卡托大学新西兰项目驻海外合作学院外教。教授课程有:西方文化、荧屏与媒体、西方文明史,社会学/流行文化、艺术等。
